San Antonio
Known by the regulars as 'San An', San Antonio Town is by far the liveliest resort in Ibiza. Offering round-the-clock fun, San An is renowned for its pulsating bars and nightclubs and is especially popular with British tourists. The resort attracts a young and lively crowd due to its legendary nightlife. However out of season the resort has a much quieter atmosphere and appeals to families too.
A series of beaches line the bay; to the north and west of town is Cala Gracio and Port des Torrent, both are perfect for children with sheltered shallow waters. Alternatively, visitors can catch a ferry or bus to the attractive smaller coves of Cala Conta, Cala Bassa and Cala Tarida. A variety of water sports and boat excursions around the bay are offered at the marina.
As the day draws to an end, Sunset Strip buzzes with people eager to see the infamous sunset. A wide selection of cafes, bars and restaurants fill the streets and palm-lined promenade. The hardcore partygoers head to the West End for big-name DJs, all-night clubbing, and dancing into the early hours. After a heavy night the chill-out beach bars and street cafes are the perfect place to unwind.
