Cala'n Bosch

Cala'n Bosch is a modern resort set on the southwest coast of Menorca, six miles from Ciutadella, and 35 miles from Mahon city and airport. The resort is centred round the marina, with its collection of yachts, bars and cafes. Visitors can choose between two good-sized beaches - both of which offer a selection of water sports, including windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and water skiing.

The majority of accommodation in Cala'n Bosch is comprised of self-catering apartments and villas, but there are also a couple of hotels. A mini train can transport visitors round the resort and to the nearby Son Xoriguer. Buses operate along the coast to destinations further a field. A popular daytrip is to the nearby historic town of Ciudadela with its maze of narrow streets and pretty harbour.

During peak season, Cala'n Bosch is a bustling resort with plenty to do. Its relaxed atmosphere particularly appeals to families and couples. In the evenings, the marina is a hub of activity with numerous street traders selling local handicrafts, and a good selection of bars and restaurants offering everything from local seafood dishes to traditional English menus. The majority of evening entertainment is hotel-based.
