Visitors can take a trip to the picturesque hillside town of Lindos, 19 miles, (30 kilometres) away, enjoy a round of golf in Afandou, two miles, (three kilometres), and visit the beautiful Epta Piges, with its breathtaking gorge, lake and natural springs. Regular bus services provide easy links along this stretch of coast. Those who fancy exploring further a field can take a cruise to the neighbouring island of Symi.
