Benidorm
Benidorm is a mecca for sun worshippers and partygoers. Around four million tourists flock to Benidorm every year to bronze on its endless golden sands, drink in the lively bars, and dance into the early hours at the pulsating nightclubs. Holidays in Benidorm prove particularly popular with British tourists; this is reflected in the numerous British pubs, food, and music. Benidorm is comprised of two beaches: Playa de Levante and Playa Poniente.
Benidorm Beaches
Playa Levante (Sunrise Beach) is popular for its bustling promenade packed with shops, bars and cafes, and Playa de Poniente (Sunset Beach) is a quieter alternative and, as the name suggests, enjoys spectacular sunsets. Visitors can bronze on the endless golden sand beaches and try their hand at a wealth of water sports, including jet skiing, scuba diving, and windsurfing. Benidorm Old Town is also worth a visit with its maze of narrow streets surrounding the castle. Holidays in Benidorm offer popular excursions, such as boat trips to Peacock Island, with its abundance of wildlife and spectacular views of Benidorm skyline.
Pulsating nightlife
Legendary evenings in Benidorm start by choosing from a dizzying selection of restaurants, serving everything from British favourites to traditional Spanish tapas. Live jazz, rock music, cabarat and karaoke are featured in the bars lining the square. Live shows, flamenco dancing and magicians are all on offer at the glittering Benidorm Palace, or those who feel lucky can head to the Costa Blanca Casino - one of the largest in Spain. Needless to say foam parties and big-name DJs are on offer at the abundance of nightclubs.
